U.S. Figure Skating offers many ways to become a member, whether you are a beginner, a seasoned skater or someone who enjoys watching the sport as a fan. There are more than 170,000 members registered with USFS and we would love for you to join.
All registered FSCM members of the Basic Skills Program receive:
- An official USFS Basic Skills membership card
- Basic Skills membership in the FSCM
- A brightly colored record book with stickers to track your progress through the lessons
- A membership and year patch
- A patch for the highest level completed during the 8-week session
- Sport accident insurance coverage
- General information about ice skating
- Basic Skills Edition of SKATING magazine
- Certificate of Participation
- Opportunity to compete and be in ice shows
The benefits of becoming a full FSCM member include:
- A subscription to SKATING magazine (first family member only)
- Right to test at USFS sponsored test sessions
