The Club was founded at the Ice Capades Chalet at the Mall of Memphis in 1982. In December 2003, the Mall closed its doors, inadvertently ending the dreams of many skaters. FSCM Skaters had no ice to call home and skated seasonally when the local hockey team had ice at the Lander’s Center. Serious skaters sometimes drove over two hours to find ice time.
In September 2011, the Mid-South Ice House opened it’s doors as a new state-of-the-art facility. The FSCM is proud to start a grassroots figure skating program in the Greater Mid-South and have a place to call home.
